The design of our Material Lifts as it relates to the codes, is an essential balance between safety and affordability
Material Lift rental is required to lift material between 2
or more fixed levels when travel distance is 2,000 mm or higher.
Customers can rest
assured that all Maco Corporation outcomes meet all requirements/management of
the lift code, but that’s just the start.
Every install we do is
followed by a full third-party review, made by the local, provincial/state
safety officials. Our customer will get a review certificate authorized by the
province/state as evidence that the material lift is entirely
passive to code.
Also, we’re just as
concerned about the materials and workforce worked in your new material
lift.
Built-in safety
features
The purpose of our
Material Lifts as it links to the laws is an inherent symmetry between security
and affordability. Our design highlights include the following to provide both:
- Manually operated gates are
required. Inside cab gates are not, however, thus keeping the customer
pay. Nevertheless, as there are no car gates, the freight and handler are
given to the inside face of the hoist-way walls on the entrance (door)
looks. To ensure the highest safety of everything on board, travel speed
is limited to 30 feet through minute (0.15 m/s), and the costs are limited
even to pressure push pins. The slower pace and energy to stop the
elevator by delivering the push button at any time prevent anything or
anyone from getting caught while the lift is in motion. As an added
precaution, the inner face of the hoist-way and all interior door faces are
flat and even with ultimately no catch limits.
- Control services are covered at
various hall landing as well as on elevator cab. This provides the option
of managing the booth from outside or inside the storehouse.
- Travel range is restricted to
7.6M (some jurisdictions may vary). Because of the limited height
(compared to a freight or passenger elevator which is unlimited), the lift
is nearly close to a grounding. Accordingly, the following (often pricey)
pieces are optional: emergency light and alarm bell, 2-way conversation, fire
setting panel & fire recall, battery back power and emergency control
for lowering.
- The controller is relay logic
based. Thus, no high microprocessor-based controls needed.
- The motor does not require a
selected machine room. Simple lockable information is provided. This
delivers on space and price.
We try to go beyond
the rules set out in the Elevator Safety Codes. Among our high criteria, we do
the following:
- Design highlights to allow for
conditions that have minimum pit depth and over space above.
- Use a 2-way leveling
controller, which provides the lift to adjust to the level of the platform
after it gets to a stop. This gives much more consistent leveling
efficiency and more regular embarking/disembarking.
- Utilize a 2-speed valve in our
hydraulics, providing for soft starts and ends, which are more refined for
riders and supplies.
- Have an innovative way of nylon
shoes leading the sliding action of the lift cab accompanying guide rails.
These provide a much quieter ride with fewer preservation issues than
typical steel rollers, as well as decreasing sound.
